From the Reservoir to the Offshore Production System

Modern offshore production is an integrated system. Production performance depends not only on the reservoir or well, but also on the interaction among subsea equipment, flowlines, risers, floating facilities, topsides processing, utilities, storage, offloading, control systems, logistics, maintenance, and human decision-making.

JOPTES therefore encourages research that examines offshore production from a system and lifecycle perspective, connecting engineering design with operation, reliability, digitalization, safety, economics, environmental performance, and societal implications.
